I have a bit of a request!

[She taps her cane against her desk, making some sharp whacks.]

I need a hammer. Preferably one with a solid head and a long shaft. I'd be willing to pay pretty handsomely for it!

Also, William, maybe you'd like to come with me for tea? I did say we should speak sometime, and it seems like a good enough time to start!

[It was disorienting, waking up to a view of an unfamiliar ceiling in an unfamiliar room filled with unfamiliar furnishings. It was all very organized and pleasing to the eye, yes, but Lumina didn't care. Where were her things? Where was her work? What about her schedule - oh, come on, she didn't have time set aside for dealing with this!

The pamphlet raised more questions than it answered. Why was she here instead of home in Scholar's Tower, in Eirian, in Mederest? Who was responsible for this - and could she kill them? She really didn't appreciate this disruption in her day. Or this stupid device in her hand. It took the better part of an hour to figure out how to do anything with it, and by that point she was just one step away from throwing a tantrum.

Especially after she realized that the fastest way to information might be through other people.

Eww.]

Who can hear this?

[Hopefully that was how the device worked. The annoyance in her tone is clear, even with so few words.]

[Aya's had a hard time getting along. After the main gathering he disappeared into hiding, and didn't try to contact anyone. Thus, it's a surprise he's out now, in the hallway with his dog and an old tennis ball, playing fetch on the third floor.

They look happy at the moment, with him tossing the ball, and Blanca running to retrieve it, barking loudly now and then when he teases her by pretending to throw the ball instead.
]

"S'okay, girl. Here. Catch it!

[And off she goes, chasing after the ball, the two of them lost in one another's company.]

[ now that the power is on and things have started to get a bit more active around the city... well Viktor is upholding his word in the apartment lobby. he's in the flower shop right now, and it seems a lot more vibrant than the last time anyone saw it.

everything is arranged nicely, light makes the store glow, and Viktor himself is making a few arrangements. he doesn't seem to realise he's turned on the video feed as he's set his IvyPod down, and is currently pausing from his work.

curiously enough, the flowers he's stopped arranging lean toward him, making a high noise that only he can hear- they're worried for him! cheer up, cheer up! ]

Thank you... -I'm okay. I'm just... scared of this place... but it's nice being here...

[ Viktor smiles softly, some ivy climbing from the nearby pot to curl up his arm- an affectionate gesture. a small smile lights his face now. ]

I-It's nice to spend time with you all... y-your owner before had a really nice shop... I-I wish I could have met them.

Maybe it'd be nice to stay here all the time instead of the apartments...l-like at home...

[ his expression falls a bit, again. and eventually he'll get back to work, the video feed continuing to go unnoticed. ]

I hope nobody has an objection to my taking over City Hall, because I'm already putting my stamp on it!

[Pyrope sounds cheerful as always. Manning City Hall does a few things for her: one, it fits her jurisdiction as Priest of Judgement. Two, it allows her to find out some things about the place, such as about security passes. Three, it actually has braille, so she doesn't even have to sacrifice her time off from the blindfold on that research!

And, fourth, she's kind of a busybody at any rate.
]

I've already sorted through all the forms and arranged them in a way that's much more simple to peruse. If you fancy filling one out, I'd be happy to help! I'm getting used to this machine in here.

[Rosh is dominating this musebox.

I mean.

Pyrope raised her head to 'look' up at the tower she'd reached with the three boys. The tang of the Glyph Energy was very sharp here, and she knew she'd be able to recognize the scent later on.

She wondered what it looked like. Probably big and intimidating. In her mind's eye, she saw something like a ziggurat rising out of the earth. How accurate was she? Probably not very, but the sharp tang in the air reminded her of some of the more magical areas back home.

Tapping her cane against the ground, she leaned back and beamed at her companions.
]

Well, here we are! The Glyph Tower of the Residental District. It really smells quite sharp here, eh?

Attention everyone!

[Pyrope's voice is bright, clear, and commanding.]

I think it's important that we meet and find out what's going on. If you come to the lobby in the apartments, we can all have a discussion about what we need to do to leave, and figure out what we're going to do for the time being.

My name is Pyrope Daggereyes, priest of Samenda, lord of Judgement. I will be waiting to speak to you all, so please come along.

[ Come meet up in here!]

[There's absolutely no need to panic.

The tap-tap-tap of her cane against the clean, polished floor is one of the only sounds she can hear. The corridor seems completely empty, and when she rests her hands on the doors, she can feel no vibrations of movement or speech in them. It doesn't mean nothing is, she knows, but she certainly can't feel it, and she has a better sense of presence than most.

She was aware it was bright, and that there was a faint - a very faint - green tinge to the light. It was about all she could see through the blindfold. Logic told her to take it off and see her surroundings, but she couldn't. She had to be blind until she was called to See.

Even if it meant being blind in unfamiliar surroundings, with no concept of how she got to where she was, and everything felt strange.

But even with that in mind, there's no need to panic.

The creak of wood catches her attention. She stops tapping her cane against the floor and brings it towards her, casually resting both hands on the head of it. She turns, smoothly, to face the newcomer, a faint smile on her face.

There's no need to panic.
