Right. So, this is all an incredibly well-thought-out practical joke, right? Stillaire, Glyph energy? Everything in that little pamphlet was way too cheerful to be real. Cheerful in that "we want to have you for dinner" kind of way.

[It's a young woman, all right. A rather angry young woman.]

And furthermore. This? This is kidnapping, and I am not going to stand for being kidnapped and just dumped off in some wannabe-creepy apartment complex. I'm not going to be the damsel here.

[She won't admit that it's a little creepy that her apartment is decorated to her immediate tastes, either. It meant that someone had been watching her for quite awhile, which was creepy ...and a bit flattering. But mostly creepy. She pauses to really look at her surroundings again, shaking her head.]

Right. So, I'm not staying here.

[The sound of tiny heels an be heard stomping angrily away from where she stood, ivytwine clutched loosely in her hand.]

We are very seriously trapped here. It's not any form of light-hearted trap in the slightest. [He twirls his hands as he speaks, index fingers extended.]

I wasn't aware a trap could be lighthearted.

[She sideeyes him for a moment before continuing to march onward.]

Who are you, anyway?

Oh, how rude of me. I'm sorry. [He holds the Ivytwine at arm's length, twirls his other hand, and gives a bow from where he's seated.] My name is Gabriel Malone.

Fancy name. Angelic, even.

[That sly little smirk says otherwise, though.]

Names Kaoru Devereaux.

[His lips twitch in a smirk, but he smoothes it into a smile.]

Nice to meet you, Miss Devereaux. Now. About how you're going to leave?

[RUDE everything he plays is good!

He starts by slapping the side of the guitar in a decent beat. Then he rises into what should be a fairly familiar tune.]

[She flashes him a grim sort of smile before walking onwards.]

[He smiles, raises his eyebrows, and nods in response. If he hadn't been plucking the strings, he'd have saluted too.]

[And she totters onward, peering around doors slowly and walking down the lonely hallway, cheered by the other's music - not that she'd admit it.]

[When he reaches the end, he just loops it. After a while, he clears his throat.]
